Asobi ni Iku yo!

Genre: Harem, action
Score: OK

Catgirls from space! Aliens from the planet Catia – who oddly look just like humans but with cat ears and tails – contact earth. Their scout, Eris, ends up living with an ordinary Japanese boy and declaring his house an embassy.

It’s tempting to dismiss this series based on the female lead’s voluminous bosoms, but it turns out to actually have a plot. The different human groups respond in interesting ways, including one group that tries to kill Eris because they refuse to accept humanity’s first contact with aliens could be so ridiculous. The strategies of the evil dog aliens are more clever than they at first appear.

This is mostly light, bouncy comedy, but there’s enough plot to carry it.
